Our
Quick Pick'n Ship software is a feature in our store e-commerce
software that will allow you to print out an invoice, shipping
label and the locations of the products that need to be
shipped.
Each
order will generate a ship set. A ship set consists of the
customer invoice, the shipping label and a sheet for the store personnel
that contains the locations of the products within your store.
You
have the option of having the ship sets printed as the orders come
in (such as you would during normal business hours) or holding the orders
until they are ready to be picked and packed (such as would when your
store is closed).
The
pick sheets are sorted according to predefined locations within your store
so that your personnel can pick multiple orders by making one pass through
your store. We liken it to being a shopping list on steroids.
This list will allow you to use existing store personnel to ship your
products during periods when time is available.
Once
the order is packed, the store personnel places the invoice into the
shipping container and separates the shipping label from the ship set
paperwork. The store personnel will then affix the label with clear
packing tape. The store personnel then weighs the
package attaches the appropriate shipping vendor label.
If you are using solutions that provide a tracking number it
can be entered into the order status and it will be e-mailed to your
customer with ship notification e-mail when your personnel marks the order
as shipped.
