Since
our software is modular, we were able to assemble into it a rich set of
features that are not normally seen in a generic retail commerce
solution. Furthermore, since it is modular we can configure your system
with the features you that want most.
As new modules are developed they
too can be added remotely, so you don't have to worry about taking your
system down for days for an upgrade.
Our design ethic was to keep the
system as simple as possible while still allowing for a client to
specify overall color and border schemes.
By keeping our system simple we made it utilize your bandwidth to its
fullest potential.
Online
Customer Chat: You can see
the customers that are currently browsing your site and by clicking on chat
with customer your customer will be invited into a chat session form when
they click on the next page of your site. Once they enter a name to go by
you will be able to type messages back and forth. You can have chats with
multiple customers simultaneously.
Remote
Management: We have included
Webmin remote management software so that each server can be remotely
administered through the internet. Please note that remotely administering
your differs from merely changing greetings and product information for your
web site. Webmin is for the hard core maintenance of your server. We suggest
that you purchase a support contract unless you are very knowledgeable in
Linux Server Management.
Rotating
Banners: In the top
portion of the store will notice that it randomly presents an advertising
banner. By clicking on the refresh button you will see it cycle through
the ten banners that are included in the demo. These banners are intended
to be changed to your own advertising. You can have an unlimited
amount of banners. They are easy to make, but if you like we can design
them to your specification for a nominal additional fee.
Mini-Cart
in Banner: In the top right
section of the store you will initially see a box that states your cart
is empty. When you click on add to cart for a product the
mini-cart will be updated with the quantity and cost of the products that
you have ordered. It also contains links to the check out and
regular shopping cart pages.
WebSite
Statistics: In the
administration section you will find a link to site statistics. By clicking
on this link you will find an enormous wealth of information regarding
the use of your site. Please be aware that since it is gathering an enormous
amount of information, there will be pause before it shows you
the statistics for your site. The information that you will be shown
includes: users
online, registered members logged on, top referral sites, top pages, top
products, top operating systems and graphs of sessions and pages served
(by the hour, week, month and year).
Featured
Products: When a customer
visits your site they will be presented by your current greeting (easily
maintained by you) and a table containing all of the items that your site
is currently featuring. Please note that the original and discount
prices are included. These items are easily changed so that you can
present your customers with deals of the day, week or whenever you want
to change them.
Related
Products: When you click on a
product that has other related products the other related products will be
displayed below in fashion similar to the fashion that featured products
are presented on the main page. For example,
if you click on the power sander you will shown the power sander above and
a thumbnail presentation of a skill saw below. this will allow you your
customer a broad view of your product line.
Global
Search: We also include a
standard search function so that a customer can search your product line.
Since our demo does not contain a large number of products we suggest that
you try
searching on the word saw.
Newsletter:
We have included a newsletter system in which your users can subscribe to
an e-mail newsletter so you can inform them of specials at web site. Our
system will allow you to create, manage and distribute an e-mail
newsletter.
